Andreas Rudas, born 1953 in Budapest, raised in Austria, worked with the Austrian
broadcaster ORF from 1986 to 1997, first as Spokesperson, then as Secretary General.
From 1997 to 2000 Andreas Rudas acted as Secretary General at the then ruling Social
Democratic Party . Starting 2000, he held various executive positions at the worldwide
operating automotive supplier Magna.
In December 2005 Andreas Rudas was asked to join the WAZ Media Group as Executive
Director of the WAZ Ost Holding , responsible for Austria, South Eastern Europe and Asia.
In January 2009 Andreas Rudas was appointed as new member of the RTL Group Executive
Committee and oversaw in this capacity various operations mainly in Central and Eastern
Europe and served as Chairman for the Joint Venture between RTL Group and CBS in Asia.
After leaving RTL Group Andreas Rudas became 2018 President of Arthur D. Little in Austria
and since 2017 he serves as Chairman of the Board of RTR Gmbh, Austrian Media and
Telecom Regulatory.
